Prezi offers a free account for developing an alternate to powerpoint slide show. You can insert PDF's, pictures and links to you tube and other internet sites, and Prezi's can be downloaded as a flash file for use offline.

This is a web based site (free) for creating a public space to share information. (Like this site). Very easy to use but is limited without upgrading to a paid site.

Cam Studio

This one is great for recording what is shown on your monitor and is saved as an AVI file (its free). You can then use Windows Movie Maker to edit the recording. You could use this to make a video of how to access a website, for example: perception, ARC licence application, 'my.TAFE' or a learning management system used by your institution, or other teaching resource using PC applications.
